I did my book review on a book called Carnival at Candlelight, by Mary Pope Osborne. This book is part of the Magic Treehouse series, but is a special edition, so it's bigger and longer, so it would be suitable for older readers as well. The main characters are Jack and Annie. Jack is ten years old, and he loves books and learning. He always takes notes on his Magic Treehouse adventures. Annie, his younger sister, is eight years old and is a little impatient, but she loves adventure. There are many settings in this book, but the main one is Venice, Italy. In the story, Merlin, a magic sorceror from King Arthur's time, sends Jack and Annie to Venice, Italy to save the Grand Lady of the Lagoon. It turns out that the Grand Lady of the Lagoon is Venice, and they're supposed to save her from a flood. Jack and Annie must go to the god Neptune, by flying on a winged, golden lion, and tell him to saveVenice. I think anybody would like this book, but mainly fantasy lovers. I think people at about age five would start to read this book. I really like this book!
