The book I choose to read was FROM CHARLIE'S POINT OF VIEW by Richard Scrimger. It is a great mystery book published in 2005.
The two two main characters are Charlie Fairmile and Bernadette Lyall. Charlie is blind and going into a new school. On the way to school they meet a new friend Lewis. By a freak coincidence, his dad is accused of robbing a bank. Can Charlie prove his father didn't do it? Some of the many good things about this book are it's written like the author is speaking to you. For instance, Charlie knows what seeing is like as much as you know what being telepathic is like. You don't. It is very funny and very suspenseful. The only thing I did not like in this book is that there are some parts where nothing interesting is happening. The intended audience for this book is grade six and up.
