I am going to review a book called The Deep End Gang, by Peggy Dymond Leavey. This book is about a boy named Martin and hid family. They move a lot. They move to a town called Branch, where Martin meets two kids his age who live near him. They all live near a really creepy house. They call themselves the "Deep End Gang" and throughout the novel they spend their time investigating the house. The two other kids mention that there was a kidnapping near the house. The three of them also spot lights going around in the house. Eventually when they go in the house there are a group of men. The three kids tell them that the man that who was kidnapped isn't dead.

In some parts of the book are a little bit confusing, but in others it are fantastic. This book is not part of a series. Peggy Dymond Leavey has written other books too. Some of these books include Sky Lake Summer, A Circle In Time and Help Wanted: Wednesdays Only.

I recommend that children ages 8-11 who like mystery books, will enjoy this one.

Out of ten stars, I rank this book eight stars.
