For my review, I read Lost Goat Lane by Rosa Jordan. Lost Goat Lane is a book about two families, the Martins and the Wilsons. Kate Martin's family is having a pretty boring summer with their mom at work all the time. They were bored hanging around the farm, that is until they met their neighbors the Wilson family. Kate, Chip and Justin went over everyday to meet the Wilsons. They weren't as bored visiting Ruby, Luther and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. Kate and Ruby didn't get along very well, but maybe they could become friends. Maybe if Kate followed her and helped Ruby then could they become friends?

Some of the good parts of this book are that it teaches you a lot about prejudice and prejudging people. If you like books that don't have a huge amount of action you would probably like this book. I think that it is probably for people around age 10-12 (some kids might not understand certain parts). My rating is 7 out of 10 because I enjoyed it a fair amount and there wasn't really one part that I didn't like.
